At Reclamet top prices are always paid for all grades of scrap metal, with immediate cash payment or on monthly account.

The general public or trade can deliver in small or large amounts of scrap. Offloading is fast and efficient with the aid of forklift trucks, grab and magnet cranes. Whilst we only pay out on ferrous loads of 1 tonne or more, there is no minimum tonnage for non ferrous metals.

Scrap Metal Collections

For anyone generating large quantities of scrap, Reclamet offer a fast and reliable next day metal skip service, supplying 8 to 40 yard skips and purpose built battery containers. Our utility vehicle fitted with grab, crane and flat bed is also available to collect large mixed loads of refrigeration, checkouts or plant machinery.

Reclamet specialises in metals recycling, with 1000s of tonnes of metals being processed each year. The Reclamet auto division collects, safely depollutes and reprocesses 1000s of vehicles each year.

Reclamet LTD has a Taurus Corsair 873 Shear, capable of shearing, bailing and logging various metals of varying densities. Magnetic attachments allow us to process even the smallest pieces of metal; once the metals have been separated, they are shredded, chopped and crushed into blocks ready to be shipped to the metal works and ultimately melted down in furnaces and reworked.

Unusual Acquisitions

Reclamet is proud of its reputation for recycling excellence and its involvement with some highly unusual projects; from the acquisition of an entire Avro-Vulcan bomber, to the reprocessing of old jet-engines from the aeronautics industry. Reclamet has acquired 50 foot long prop-shafts from ocean liners and a Channel Tunnel boring machine!
