Is there any operational difference with a left-hand drive?

Aside from the steering wheel being on the left, there is no change to the car’s setup. The pedals are still in the same order, from left to right: clutch, brake and accelerator. The only real difference to go from a right-hand drive to a left-hand drive is with operating the gear transmission. In a left-hand drive, you use the gears with your right hand.

Then there is visibility. A left-hand drive in a right-hand drive country and a right-hand drive in a left-hand drive country will have to get used to a different driving visibility. Conventional cars for their respective countries will have drivers towards the middle of the road. However, you can adjust and get used to the different vantage points – especially when parking.
