A-WARD “SCRAPPA” CONTAINER INVERTER
We have recently made changes to our metal recycling facility to meet the growing demand for green, recycled auto parts. However, traditional metal recycling has also seen growth.
Through domestic visitors and business waste contacts, there has been an upsurge of metal handled and processed, which puts particular demands on the limited space available in the yard.
It is an incredible sight when the 360 Powerhands are clawing metal and dropping it into the baler with a controlled swing. How precise they can be with the claw or shears is a real art. They bring real energy to the yard, like the forklifts on the go and the roll-on-roll-off bins through the weighbridge. However, there needs to be an end market for all the metals, and the processing must be as efficient as possible to maximise the value.
Did you know we collect metals in bulk from anywhere in Kent? If you have scrap metal lying around or are a business with metal waste, why not turn it into money?
An answer to this is our bright red A-WARD “SCRAPPA” CONTAINER INVERTER, a great piece of equipment that can provide access to end-user domestic and foreign markets for export. Rather than transporting metal to other locations to process, we can fill shipping containers on-site ready to be taken to port.
The container inverter can lift containers to an inclination of 90°, which enables the materials to be evenly distributed throughout the container by the force of gravity. This process ensures that even small spaces fill naturally, allowing the container to achieve maximum capacity. As a result, heavier weights and more materials are processed. Most importantly, adding material with a slowly increasing angle avoids piercing the container. A restraining container cradle is also on hand to restrict overloading and swelling. The potential piercing and container swelling are causes for cargo shipping to reject them.
Thank you, JMC Recycling, for the delivery, installation, and operator demonstration.
Please contact us if you want to know more about how our container invertor can help you.
